Hair Restoration Treatment with Regenera Activa

Regenera® Activa Hair Loss Treatment now approved in Hong Kong June 2019.

“3 step 60 minute procedure, Results visible in 30 days”

Clinical studies show that hair loss is stopped at 4-6 weeks and existing hair follicles begin to regenerate new hair. Regenera is a tool specifically developed and manufactured for clinical application of regenerative procedures using autologous micrografts (obtained from the same patient.) In a single session, the patient is a donor and recipient of autologous micrografts which allows the recipient zone to benefit from the regenerative activity of the progenitor cells and the growth factors extracted from the donor site. The technique is based on clinical studies demonstrating that there is a high concentration of the obtained cells in solid tissues. Through a calibrated mechanical process and a filtrate, the cells and other precursor elements are concentrated. What is Alopecia? Alopecia is a medical term for hair loss. Androgenetic alopecia occurs due to the sensitivity of hair follicles to androgens. This is the most common cause for hair loss in 70% of men and 40% of women. Men usually develop recession of the hairline at the temples (receding hairline) and baldness at the top whilst women present with scattered thinning of the hair at the top of the head. Regenera Activa® is suitable for treating Androgenetic causes for alopecia. What happens during the treatment? Regenera Activa® is a comfortable 3-step procedure which takes up to 60 minutes. Step 1: Local anaesthesia is applied around the nape of the neck and with the use of a punch biopsy tool 3 skin samples are taken with a diameter of only 2.5mm each. Step 2: The samples collected are then subjected to mechanical processing and filtration in a specialized device to isolate progenitor cells, stem cells and growth factors, all of which have regenerative abilities. Step 3: The suspension prepared is then reintroduced to the area of the scalp which requires treatment using fine tiny needles. This initiates the repair process and stimulates blood vessel formation and regeneration of hair follicles.
